South Africa, 25 May 2017 – Maserati SA today revealed its latest flagship offering to South African vehicle connoisseurs, the new Quattroporte 2017, at the official launch of its showroom in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
Maserati, an iconic brand renowned for exclusivity, Italian design, performance and craftsmanship, has established itself as force to be reckoned with in the luxury vehicles segment in South Africa.
“We have grown from strength-to-strength, having established two showrooms in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with a third to be opened during 2017 in Durban. Our Bryanston showroom also includesservicing facilities that are in line with Maserati’s global standards.” said Brad Graaff, Operations Manager for European Automotive Imports – South Africa (EAI-SA), the official importer of Maserati in South Africa.
He added that the new flagship Quattroporte 2017 represents the quintessence of Italian sport sedans and exudes elegance with a signature Maserati personality. It features exterior restyling, a refined interior and additional high-tech features. Furthermore, a new trim strategy has been launched with the introduction of the GranLusso and GranSport trims.
The restyled Quattroporte’s exterior can be recognised by the new bumper design with matte black profile at the front and the matte black extractor at the rear. Even the new front grille, a centre piece of the Maserati identity, evolves into a new shape inspired by the Alfieri. Other distinguishing details of the new Quattroporte are the matte black side skirts and the exterior mirrors, slightly restyled as well to incorporate some new technical features.
On the interior, the redesigned central dashboard now accommodates a high resolution 8.4” screen with multi touch function. The central, lower console has also been redesigned and now features a rotary knob for volume and functions control.
In addition, the new trim strategy for both the GranLusso and GranSport was conceived to meet the needs of clients that seek a differentiated and unique product in the luxury sedan segment.
“South Africa was recently voted one of the top three countries for entrepreneurship in a recent report. We are confident that the new Quattroporte 2017 will meet the needs of entrepreneurial pioneers and business trailblazers alike,” concluded Graaff.
